NOT AN IPS SCREEN! The Wamart listing says it's IPS, but Lenovo PSREF (which I trust more than Walmart's specs) says TN.

I had a brain fart, the IdeaPad 5 I mentioned has an Intel Core i5-1135G7 (Tiger Lake) not Ryzen 4500U. Can't post links, but search Staples for 82FG000RUS.

Still, much better buy than this IdeaPad 3.

This is not a great deal. The IdeaPad 5 at Staples is $500 for a 4500U, double the storage, and all-around much nicer laptop (way bigger battery, USB-C, backlit keyboard, nicer built with metal lid).

The 5 doesn't have expandable memory, but keep in mind that on this 3, you get 4GB soldered and 4GB in the slot, so only max of 8GB will operate as dual-channel, and any upgrade means tossing out 4GB.

The budget Lenovo laptop is now even more affordable than before to make it a respectable deal for shallow pockets especially if you're willing to upgrade the RAM on your own.
