The Playstation has always had a better sales track record than the XBox even a blind person can see that. It's really all preference in my opinion. Both systems are capable of producing great graphics and hours of fun. I've had both Playstation and Xbox's throught the years and i just prefer a playstation. Too many annoying little kids on the xbox network and most of the games I like to play come out first or are exclusive to the Playstation. I personally think the PS5 looks way better than the xbox one especially once them custom plates come out. The knock i give playstation is the hard drive is only 800gb which sucks but external hard drive fixes that. Arguing about which one is better is all in vain because if you really wanted the answer to that then just check the history and you will see the playstation dominates them all. Sales don't lie and the result is clear. More people prefer the Playstation worldwide because it has more to offer.  8)

"All the lying xboys here are hilarious. Y'all losers will really comment on anything to make you feel better about making the wrong choice."

Spoken like the ignorant Sony fanboy you are!
Die in a fire you scum!

How many of those PS5s are actually in the hands of gamers and how many of those  PS5s are still sitting in the back rooms of scalpers who are charging 3x the price? Phony numbers.

Bots not boys

I have a Series X, because the boys were just ridiculous for the PS5, and honestly Game Pass Ultimate makes the Series X a pretty good option for parents that don't want to spend $400 in new games after first buying the console.

With that said, I think the demand for the PlayStation has been artificially inflated by the bots and the hysteria.

It is not about 'sales' at this point, but about who can outproduce the competitor, because immediate sale is guaranteed.

Well I got the series X because I liked the backwards compatibility and heard that Resident Evil 8 runs like crap on the PS5. Then I bought into the hype of the PS5 and thought I was missing out with the "game changing" dual sense and got one... first of all the White plastic looks cheap, like when a teenager puts a spoiler on a piece of crap car. Right out of the box, I'm not getting 875 gigs from my hard drive, I have  just over 600.  I love Dark Souls, but it's the same game only with better graphics and the dual sense really doesn't do much for me. It was cool in the demo that comes with the system, but it's as gimmicky as the wii mote. Cyberpunk 2077 absolutely runs better on my series X which tells me that the Series X is a better system and when I buy RE8 it will be for it, not the PS5. I obviously regret dropping the grand on EBay for the PS5.

I don't know anyone that has been able to buy either the new Xbox or PS5. I'm calling BS on this.  Maybe the best toilet paper launch.....

I can confirm that I have a PS5 as do several of my friends. PS5 are out of stock everywhere but xbox's are available for purchase (I know 1 person who got one, but my circle is mostly into playstation like me)

The PS5 vs. Xbox Series X|S vs. Switch launch sales contest has been definitively won by Sony's console according to recently published estimates. Global sales for the PlayStation 5 have topped 3.3 million units within its first four weeks of launch. Microsoft's consoles have also sold well in the US and Europe but flatlined in Japan.
