They did not mention anything about the sodimm slot, I think. I hope it is still there.

I watched the presentation. The display is 2560 × 1600, 100% sRGB, 98% DCI-P3, Wifi 6, 2xThunderbolt 4(no more proprietary charger), 5 Wt speakers, still 80Whr battery, still 2 dual m.2 slots, bigger touchpad(nothing fancy, evolutionary approach), the new color (black). I think they have addressed complaints about previous models - display, speaker, proprietary charger. Nothing revolutionary, but they kept everything good and improved bad parts.

LG is slated to launch its next-gen Gram laptop series in South Korea on December 16, 2020. A leak allegedly originating from the same country purports to spill details on the 16-inch SKU from this series. It points to an 11th-gen core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, 65W charging and a price that might come as a surprise considering these specs.
