WARNING: THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES: DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
I ordered an Eve-V in 2018 and after 12 months of ducking and weaving, they changed the company name slightly, dis-owned my order and kept my money. I am thousands out of pocket. Save your cash and buy from a reputable brand.

The EVE Devices company has a history of bad/no deliveries and no refunds. Many people (including me) are still waiting for it!

If you think this is something for you.
Just try to find the company contact information on their website and I doesn't mean the Hong Kong address that seems to belong to the "Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce".
The unavailability of this information is a dead giveaway.
If you have a complaint you can try the forum board, but it is securely censored and any "bad company" news is removed within minutes.
The ticketing system will respond on delivery/refund request with "Please be patient a solution is coming", if you get an answer.
If you still think this is something for you, and you have money to spend, give it a try.

Even without the question of reliability, why buy this instead of a last generation Surface Pro on sale by then if this doesn't have AMD??

Really? Is that the best you can do to report and educate your readers? These guys changed their company name to avoid all their legal obligations to deliver orders received under their previous company.

Instead they still have the temerity to repeat the same shenanigans with yet another pre-order for delivery nearly 1 year later?!?! Given their track record for not delivering at all AND not doing refunds, or delivering very very late, Notebookchat should at the very least give a proper low down instead of giving them free publicity!

Consumers are really dumb indeed to want to deal with these fellas!

Eve has finally made the successor to the Eve V available. However, the 2-in-1 effectively starts at US$1,449 with a keyboard and pen, and it will not begin shipping until Q3 2021 at the earliest. The Eve V 2021 packs some impressive specifications though, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a choice of Tiger Lake-U series processors.
