Most Android phones don't even need any elaborate cooling solution because not everybody plays the most demanding games.

Oh and not that idiot i-Sheep like you would know anything about it anyway. Because you can't install any games at all anyway except Fruit Ninja. Your stupid iCrap iTunes doesn't even have the best game titles - No Epic/Fortnite, no Google Stadia, no Nvidia Geforce, no Microsoft xCloud etc, etc,

Talk about nonsense. Just compare the heat profile of iphones to android phones, they run hotter and are heavier due to all the cooling put in there. iphones also have shorter battery life then many android phones.

The difference is that Android have more power users who will push the phone to the limit.

As for ram usage, I'll remind you most android tablets have been stuck at 2-3gb ram and work just finr.

Android doesn't need 8+ GB of RAM. It's pretty much just marketing. Of course, not all flavour of Android are equally frugal. It's especially funny when large RAM is combined with aggressive memory management (for the sake of lowering power consumption) eliminating probably the biggest benefit for end user - applications staying alive in memory.

Well, you can use it to control hot spots. However, unless there is a medium flowing through into which you can dump the heat, surface temperature correlates with power draw. The only thing using a less thermally conductive material achieves is increasing die temperature for any given surface temperature. So yes, if you have a glass back with aluminium frame, you could try bringing the temperature of the frame down and more in line with the glass back. But the back would have to get hotter to compensate (the heat has to go somewhere) and die temperature would go up as well. It could also mean higher operating temperature for the display. If you want to go beyond ironing out hot spots, you have to reduce power draw and therefore performance to get a device cooler to the touch.
