Is the 10.4W 'Load Maximum' measurement relevant to everyday usage? Or is this only if you crank up the screen to it's 800-1200nits upper brightness?

I mean, is it the internals (SoC, etc.)? Or something you have some control over, such as the screen brightness.

I wanted to upgrade my iPhone 8 this year, but PWM = no deal  :(

The only options for me are iPhone SE (2020) or iPhone 11 (basic model)  :-\

Why big companies completly ignore people who can't work with PWM displays.

When we can see the iphone 12 pro review? Does somebody know whats the PWM on it? I'm a little bit surprised of the iphone 12 results. Why it so bad?
Every OLED has bad PWM, even super pro premium flagship phones and laptops, even Apple devices. If you are heavy media consumer, and I heard media consuming is popular in 2020 by some surprising reasons, then you could try a phone with DC Dimming feature.

11 pro doesn't have DV recording either, but really worries me is that 11 pro have better looking photos than 12 even in low light?!

11 pro does have smaller display 5,8" vs 6,1" on 12 - that would be a small disadvantage too

Hi,
it looks like Iphone 11 pro (max) camera is better in details while looking at photos you've taken with better focus, details and for me, better looking colours.

The only better camera on 12 is ultra-wide, that I'm not planning to use at all, so it leaves me to buy iphone 11 pro as a better buy than iphone 12, right? The telephoto lens does not do anything when you shoot with main camera on 1x zoom and as per apple, iphone 12 should have same lens as 11 but with better f/1.6 for more light + new A14 for postprocessing, can anybody explain why it looks worse or if it looks worse for you too?

And yes, I got it, I'm comparing 12 non-pro with 11 pro, but you can buy both for similiar price now and 11 pro will drop its price in some time even more.

11 pro seems to have better battery life, display with higher brightness, 4g only (who needs 5g right as it drains battery), telephoto lens.

Disadvantages of 11 pro are 2,4ghz wifi hotspot only, 4g only (and probably a bit worse reception of signal),

Similiar camera results are on many other sites including gsmarena

video comparison (much better on iphone 11 pro btw)

The iPhone 12 is more angular than its predecessor and finally features 5G and an OLDED display. It is a lot lighter and slimmer than last year's model. Find out whether Apple has once again landed a big hit in our review.
