The Xiaomi 9SE was my special and BEST phone i ever had untill it dropped on the ground..

Cannot buy it in 2021 anymore, cannot find anything based on a 'normal/holdable' format with Xiaomi to replace it... hope they do make a new SE or else i have to buy a onePlus Nord with mixed feelings.. you know, if you start to like a brand stuff like that hurts.

I had redmi 4x , now i have mi 9 se and that's the best phone (specs to  price - size could be smaller a bit ) and i can't wait till some xiaomi or redmi will give us some new model with NORMAL size phone, or even smaller than mi9se . Best size and battery is in redmi 4x!! ( don't get confused with redmi note4x )
It should be MOBILE device, not efin tablet !!!!!!!!! They could think also  about full physical keyboard like in F(x)tec PRO¹ - fully unlocked - That is the dream smartphone

''if the Chinese OEM can solve the battery life issue that is.''

Why is that a problem ? remember sony compact line they where smaller then the larger flagship and because they had a smaller screen they dont need a large batterie.

A social media post by Lu Weibing has led to some speculation that Xiaomi or Redmi could be planning a diminutive variant of a future flagship along the lines of the iPhone 12 Mini. A Xiaomi Mi 11 SE or Redmi K40 Mini would certainly go down well with users looking for a more compact smartphone.
