The 4k one sucks, I wouldn't get that. I personally dont get very great performance with FULLHD model and undervolt, for some reason, so I wouldn't go for the 4k even if I got it for free lol.

Normally I wouldn't opt for the 4K UHD on a laptop but many reviews mentioned that the FHD screen on this laptop has noticeably lackluster colors and its brightness is close to 300 nits despite Lenovo claiming 400 nits on their specs sheet.

What do you mean by performance exactly?

Thanks, was just about to order the C940 with Lenovo's autumn discount when this pops up. Hoping the battery life isn't too bad with the 4K screen.

I have the C940, make sure you learn how to undervolt, the cooling isnt the best because it's powerful. You'll get better thermals, better battery, and even better performance! (because it heats up a lot) I recommend ThrottleStop and start at -100mV and decrease it incrementally (I'm able to get to -125mV) without crashes. And no, undervolting doesnt damage and doesnt void warranty. Overvolting/overclocking does.

Obviously you dont need to worry about undervolting if you're plugged in. Also, it has TB3 so you can use an eGPU for additional graphics power.

TL;DR undervolt with throttlestop and battery/perfomance/thermals will be good.
