Unter dem Hashtag #Leapfurtherahead darf man in den nächsten Wochen mit Teasern zur Mate 40-Serie rechnen, die am 22. Oktober um 14.00 im Rahmen eines globalen Launchevents präsentiert wird. Wie schon in den Jahren zuvor steht die Kamera aber auch der neue Kirin-Prozessor im Vordergrund des aktuell wohl letzten traditionellen Huawei-Flaggschiffs.
