It was maybe a bit panic because of the "Big Navi" or RDNA2 but February and here they increased the recommended price or as you call it in English because of the VAT reduction is ending as part of a economic support the VAT groups for stuff like food and other things needed by "everyone" was reduced from 7% to 5% and the "consumer goods" VAT of 19% was reduced to 16%, Nvidia and AMD and/or their Board partners had a small extra benefit, but the "correction" was a bit strange, the 3080 got the lowest increase (2.86%, 699 -> 719€, a few days ago they finally removed the card, I doubt there have been any new cards since September there anyway, same for AMD reference cards via German site, Igor the insider named it correct: "Homeopath" amounts of the reference design were sold, the FE too... the scalpers selling also to German people who support them in most cases get a non-german FE I guess, I'm really pissed,

Than 3080 Ti Nvidia leaked news that it will come mid-feb or late feb and something like worst-case early march, anyway after chinese new year crap or so... I think it was part of the continued different information to different trusted partners which are informed so that they can already now plan production, because the 3080 Ti 20GB would be produced like a 3090, ram spaces on both ends of the cards?! The now coming 12GB (yea fucking joke, lucky they didnt took the 1080 Ti and 2080 TI's 11GB...) version is enough, thats clear, price on paper estimates didn't change because nobody expects miners/scalpers/nvidia to make it cheaper than a once serious planned 20GB version,

now the info which did leak but was not confirmed was next step to catch the "dirty rat" informing us and so many like me waiting for 3080 Ti (20GB......) and looking every day for the "overdose of luck and a card priced at the greedy ~1100 USD or starting a bit above 900€, but only in shops which never have these, SUPRIM is available for crazy 1350-1400€ in shops which most people would call "serious", same with the ASUS White Gaming O10G, its above 1300€ or even like 1399€... I mean people who said "ah damn it, life is to short, I buy a 3090 FE or one of the iChill which even were reduced sometimes, 3090 were always available long enough for a normal chance to buy... just prices were first close to 2000€ with different steps and later "my" shop I look (I anyway dont expect it, but cards as old as the GT 210, GT 710/730, GT 1030, GTX 1050 Ti are sold... and they are really sold, appear, disappear, the 210 card makes me asking if its real, the price is ~45€, for a GT 210 (2009 afair, I saw a youtube video, they appeared in 2018, I guess during RTX-20 releases and price peaks) its a 1GB DDR3 card from 2009 with 4 (!!!) Cuda cores... yes we talk about the things my 1070 (cheapest/smallest desktop model, got the discount like miners as the shop where I bought has to pay bills and back than they pushed the price for 1080 Ti even 14 and half months after launch still into the 4-digit €uro direction for 3-fan variants, but I think you couldn't find even during first months of 2019 a 1080 Ti which was sold new and was only dual and because of that much cheaper, even "blower" 1-fan design (mini-PC's/ATX?) existed, but didnt see it when I bought my PC... NOW since september I regret i didnt buy the 3-times as expensive 1080 Ti, because than I could play even 4k without RTX but yea, and I spend so much money for other things I would like to quit :X but scalper scum and damn miners which even say they wouldn't buy much cheaper no-"VGA" output mining cards, which are offered in packs of 10 for the crap non-RTX worth "16"-series, saw it last year, 3 of them at once (3 x 10 cards! Each of these packs was close to 3000€ and contained some 16 series models, for sure not the worst for mining, guess RAM isnt rly important for miners, I mean ofc gddr6 and now gddr6x or before GDDR5X from 1080 and later 1080 Ti were improvements also nice like the new 19 GHz memory speed of 3080 and 19500 MHz of 3090 I think, it helps but I mean amount of ram isnt important I guess, as the cards are calculating and responding, they do not need to load gigabytes of a open world into cache, now they started to buy 3060-Notebooks, the 3060 will come end of february but seems like the 3060 mobile in notebooks is available? miners buy it, its very good for etherium mining, I hope they lose all the money or something like 80-90% and have to decide if to continue, I hope, also to reduce US pollution, they raise prices... in the german "state", as far north as possible they have the most expensive electricity in German (average), there you pay 0.36€ for 1 kWh and Ampere Desktop (and I guess also Mobile and these Mobile Q whatever the difference is) are real energy monsters... 320W 3080 and 350 for 3090, and even the 3070 and 3060 are hungry...I think the 3060 I did check back to maxwell which in a budget FX-8320/GTX 760 ASUS DirectCU-II OC version I had maxwell which also was 600-series, at least that far back no "standard" version of the (x)x60 cards used so much power, more than my 1070...even 1/3rd more at least! 1070 Ti also needs less, but yea its the 3060 Ti which is out already, the 3060 desktop will come and will be the end if we believe nvidia and because of the 20 series I do, 3050 would make no sense, would be maybe a bit better than a 2060 Super but not rly close to 2070 and not to talk about 2070S, for this ampere tech? Power needed for 3060 will be 170W, still 20W more than my hope soon replaced 1070 and only 10W less than a 1070 Ti, and data so far is only "Idle" and "3D Use", Idle data is ok but far away from "modern", with our world having such problems idle should be lower and lower, the 760 OC (980 base was OCed to a 1033 base, noise is only 1/3rd as passive cooling is for example a 20% larger heatpipe and all the way additional passive cooling material, since its only a 760 copper mixed with more aluminium, the real highlight being +20% heatpipe and a larger size which helps as the area for the heat is much larger and the 2nd fan helps cool the heatpipe and passive cooling material and improved air flow at all, I wish the 1070 I have would be designed like that, but next PC will be very good or after getting my first dos/win 3.1(1) pc (386) in 1994 with 7 years I could end up with that Ryzen 7 2700X with everything nice except graphics....also bad timing, only few weeks after I bought it first infos about 20-series came, and fster than I could look the 2080 Ti and 2080 released... so waiting and not getting one of the first shipments to Central/Western Europe from Ryzen 7 2700X with a very low price would have been 1000-times better ofc, a 2080 or 2080 tI didnt cost more than a 1080 Ti from MSI/ASUS/ZOTAC AMP! Extreme and I would maybe bought my first FE.... FE in Europe out, no new, only US gets new... 3060 isnt worth even a FE for nvidia, such mofos
