FiiO and Cowon shouldn't have done that, but I don't imagine Zeiss could get LR to run on anything more efficient than Android, they don't have the resources to do a one-off port to something entirely proprietary.

The Zeiss ZX1, first announced around two years ago, is finally up for pre-order. The device is unique in that it runs a version of Android that has allowed for the pre-loading of Adobe Lightroom for on-board editing.
