It's 2021 and this is not available anywhere yet - not in US, not in India.

Were any news released about Tiger Lake updates to L and T series Thinkpads?
Apparently some idiots in Lenovo prioritize this new processors for the cheap E and L, instead of T and X series

Those built-in earbuds will definitely replace my Plantronics C5220 and AirPods Pro ;)

But seriously, when don't they skip this unnecessary gimick for a larger battery, better cooling, an additional USB C and USB A port on the right or best of all: a nicely centred ThinkPad keyboard without numberpad instead of this mushy plastic?

Thanks. Was holding out hope for a quick platform refresh; Tiger Lake with Thunderbolt 4 would be a good competition to Ryzen 4000.

No and I wouldn't expect any till early 2021. L/T/X ThinkPads are usually updates on a yearly base. The last models were announced in February 2020.

Thunderbolt and good screens were always kept exclusive to the T series among the Lenovo ThinkPad line. This seems to change with the new second gen ThinkPad E14 and E15 with Intel Tiger Lake CPUs, as both are the first E ThinkPads to feature Tiger Lake and at least get optional better screens.
