A lot more textures on A LOT more powerful CPU and GPU. It's not a fair comparison but marketing. The only true comparison could have been seen when comparing a PS4 with the stock hdd and an ssd. Total bandwidth numbers are useless, just like teraflops, a comparison of how Sekiro runs on PS4 (ssd) vs PS5 would be more adequate, but the numbers wouldn't be that impressive.

Look, what you said doesn't seem right. Only in the case of this comparison the loading of the PS5 was 12.7x faster than the PS3, apart from that, the Demon's Souls of the PS5 clearly has a lot more textures to be loaded, I guess about 3x more. Following this logic, the PS5 system is at least 36x faster. That seems like a lot to me!

Do you usually hype yourself this much? The PS5 is underpowered, no matter the level of quasi-articles trying to save its face pre-release.

A comparison between a 2006 PS3 with a HDD and a 2020 PS5 with an SSD? Seriously? 10 seconds to 1 is an achievement? Monster Hunter World went down from 40-50+ seconds load time to a few with just a switch to an ssd without any custom hardware or software.. Real achievement would be to not have load times at all, but on new games, not remakes unless they were redesigned from the ground up.

A new video from PlayStation UK has offered up an explanation of some of the PS5 tech, including a mention of the console's famous SSD and its 5.5 GB/s typical raw read bandwidth. However, thanks to assistance from Oodle Kraken and Oodle Texture, I/O bandwidth could actually reach 17.38 GB/s and even Mark Cerny's 22 GB/s claim.
