One thing can be said FOR SURE: You're guaranteed 100% of the GTX 1050 (Laptop) performance. Problem is, it's not that much.
Gaming HARDCORE on MX450 you'll be constrained by both your CPU (-> GPU idling) AND insufficient device memory bandwidth (-> GPU threads stalling).
I say, just get a similirarly priced H-series Core/Ryzen with GTX 1650. $700 and far better (1.4X) performance than this slim-and-light fella. 8)

Mostly eSport titles and vintage games in 1080p, but depends on which MX450 gpu variation HP will use.

HP's new ProBook 400 G8 line comes with Tiger Lake CPUs and Intel Xe or optional Nvidia GeForce MX450 graphics. The laptops are aimed at the home and business markets and will be available in November.
