Ampere and Tiger Lake H are the probable pair for "next gen" mobile gaming.  Also remember that 3xxx mobiles should support HDMI 2.1, which changes the video and audio landscape.  Have to wonder if DSC doesn't get more widely supported on the DP side to help drive higher refresh rates at high bit depths which of course HDMI 2.1 will help with also.

Dell has unveiled a refreshed version of its Alienware m17 R3 gaming laptop. It bumps up the refresh rate of its 17-inch FHD panel from 300Hz to 360Hz. There are also some improvements to the notebook's cooling system. However, Dell will reveal the laptop's price and availability later this month.
