60 Hz is still alright..most non technical people getting a €499 phone won't mind this..but instead of an LCD from a company like BOE, they could have gone for a Samsung AMOLED, they have proven their reliability for 4-5 years use easily, & Samsung has put those AMOLEDs in their €250 M-series phones...

A 60hz screen definitely spoils some excitement, especially for a 2020 flagship device. I feel this may be some strategy by Asus, if people wanted a high refresh phone from Asus they may already have picked the Asus ROG 3 over this.

The Asus Zenfone 7 series is exactly a week ago from launch and a new leak has now revealed all major specs of the regular Zenfone 7. Notable takeaways include a Snapdragon 865, two usable cameras, and a 60 Hz LCD that may prove divisive.
