You guys make no sense. Xiaomi is a giant corporation and the Asia region is superpopulated and with the latest quarantine in mind the factories will not be idle. Also, this phone supposed to redefine value and challenge Nord and Pixel 4a, and paper launch will not be enough.

Yeah, just like all of their other 'flash' sales - keep 5,000 units up for sale,  sell them under 10s and then yap everywhere any imaginable amount you want.
How can we believe they sold 100,000 units. Did they get their claim audited ?

AFAIK their official site went out of stock in less than 10s, which is how these sales usually go. If they took 100,000 orders, it was probably under 10s. I don't know which channel's stock could've lasted a whole minute.
