The T15 is a nightmare of a design for corporate use. 1) memory is soldered on the motherboard!!! If it fails, you might as well junk it. 2) additional memory is "user accessible" only after removing 8 screws and gently prying the bottom off. 3) there is only one slot for the additional memory 4) the freakin' battery is under the bottom of the laptop and requires 4 more screws to be removed.

Lenovo must be telling the reviewers they can keep these shitty laptops so they can get good reviews. After 25 years, sianorah Lenovo. We're moving on!

The ThinkPad T15 Gen 1 did very well overall in our review, even in regard to CPU performance. However, given that Lenovo decided not to offer the T15 with a Ryzen 4000 option it remains slower than it otherwise could have been.
