A very incomplete review.

Again there is no exact information about the performance of the memory controller in AIDA64 - screenshot with memory and cache. With latency.

All Ryzen have a very poor memory controller in terms of latency and write speed for one with one chiplet. AMD tried to compensate for this problem in Zen2 with a huge 32 MB cache, but software that no longer fits into the cache instantly sags in memory performance against Intel classmates

In Zen2 + for laptops, AMD did not put a large cache on, putting the same as Intel, and this one immediately disgracefully affected the impulse performance and lags in response. Because the latency of the memory is 1.5 times worse than that of Intel - the typical latency of 4800H is 83-87ns, while Intel's is 52-55ns. The 4800U has 92-97ns!

This is a shame even compared to Zen +, for example, with 3500U, which, when the controller is installed at 3200 MHz, shows a typical latency of 92 ns, i.e. better than the latest 4800U!

Zen2 + wins only at the expense of 2.5-3 faster L1-L3 caches, but as soon as the software goes beyond them - that's it, Zen2 + turns into a pumpkin ...

The new Ryzen 3000 series CPUs have been on the market for exactly one year. With small improvements, AMD has now introduced three XT models of Ryzen processors and we took a closer look at the AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT. Whether it's worth buying and what strengths and weaknesses the 8-core offers, you can find out in this review.
