No it doesn't, as long as it has dual pixel PD. The effect is subtle but there.

If this materializes in any way I don't see this using mechanical zoom, it would restrict the aperture at the wide end(not to mention zoomed in) in a way deemed unacceptable for a modern flagship, however Alvarez zooms are a possibility.

A new Xiaomi patent has been discovered that details an innovative new design for a 5G smartphone. There is just a single camera on this Xiaomi device, but it is a 108 MP monster "super camera". The patent also shows the transparent Xiaomi smartphone with a wraparound display.
