Well yeah, the role of your office certainly plays a lot of these decisions.

The more uncomfortable you are at your office, the more likely you will be more happy to stay away from it.

Unless you are the infrastructure guys, who at least needs to be prepared doing some physical work. As long as it is any work that can be done remotely and properly, why not?
