There was an article called "Xiaomi invests in Chinese OLED manufacturer Zhiyun".
Hard to say if they are mostly gonna use them for phone screens or also for TV screens.

But are they just buying the panel from LG like everyone else does? In which case the price will be about the same as everyone elses and I can't see how the image quality can be improved on what has already been done.

I do love Xiaomi's products, I would probably say they are the best value to quality to innovation company on the planet right now but I just don't see how they will be able to make a rebadged LG TV stand out.

Xiaomi's recent 98-inch Redmi Smart TV Max seems to have been a commercial success, and the company is set to follow it up with yet another TV. This TV, branded as the "Xiaomi TV Master Series" will sit at the very top of Xiaomi's TV hierarchy, and will take on the rest of the world with a 65-inch OLED 120 Hz display.
