I think you're downplaying how much better the camera is on the pro.  It's HDR is much better and the nightvision is not even close.  Video quality is much better especially when zooming.

The camera is ok performs like last year's flagships, but needs some fixes.
Build Quality is good, customer support is good. Don't think the macro lens was needed.
Don't care for hole punch, but screen is still nice. Screen is a poor aspect ratio should either be 21:9 or 16:9 kind of feels like they couldn't decide, so you either get black lines or cropped video.

In our review, the OnePlus 8 has turned out to be a complete success, since it not only offers good hardware for a fair price, but also comes with 5G compatibility. With many features of the OnePlus 8 Pro also being included, the OnePlus 8 may seem like a better choice than the OnePlus 8 Pro to many prospective buyers, since the price difference is quite substantial.
