Hello, thanks for your article !  :D

Do you know a way to make argon work with 64 bit ubuntu for the pi ? (the one included in the raspberry imager tool, in the "other general purpose raspberry os")

I've tried it by installing the argon1.sh but no icon is placed at the desktop nor command line tools are installed, so the fan is quiet as a rock...

Yes, Hello, I would like to clarify one thing, I have a Raspberry pi 8GB RAM and the case to it Argon ONE 4 Pi Raspberry Pi Case, and I have heard that the new revision boards from Raspberry have slightly changed the power supply of the Board, and the question is whether to buy a new revision of the case or all the revisions are suitable. I ask this question so that nothing happens to her. Thank you in advance for your response, that's all. Alexander. Question from Russia

I've had two and neither has had this issue... Sounds like you're being too rough with soldered connectors that don't have significant mechanical support securing them.

No I am not rough with it you only need to gently touch the cable a genuine Raspberry Pi one, moving a tiny bit to one side and the monitor loses the picture.  I have spoken to Argon about it and they did say it would be looked into after they found issues also.  So maybe it is now fixed admit was last July I originally bought mine.

I think this is another one of those products designed with 0 input from mechanical engineers, otherwise the lack of support on the connectors would have been adressed.

All the force you put while inserting an hdmi cable goes to the rpi, a better design would have used flat cables and a panel connector, might even have been cheaper compared to manufacture an extra pcb.

Nice case and keeps the pi cool but the micro HDMI connectors are very poor, touch the cable and the signal to the screen disappears.  I have had 3 and all had the same fault.

The Raspberry Pi 4 is the most powerful single-board computer (SBC) released by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to date, and it got even more powerful recently with the introduction of the new 8 GB variant. We've got our hands on the new Pi and paired it with one of the most popular cases custom built for it, the Argon ONE, to find out if it could make for a reasonable desktop computing solution.
