The U.S. police and Army are simply  gathered piles of racist killers. It been proven yet again.

With all due respect, this is an American issue. Don't globalise it, you'll only be met with resentment and anger.
I understand fully well that these corporations have a public image to maintain, but they're being threatened and shamed by supporters of these "protesters" into appeasing them. It's bloody blackmail, and bending over for it shows great weakness.
Personally, I don't want another Sony product in my life. Microsoft and all the others can also go on a bender, I don't want any of my money to go to their marketing/PR department, and I bet you the chiefs overseas in Japan feel the same way.

I thought the planet was spinning around the sun, but I guess I was wrong.
This article is useless, so as this inappropriate big fuss around a tragic yet anecdotic local event.

Strange decision, but probably appropriate. When a lot of your customers are busy protesting it's not the right time to try to sell them videogames... They aren't selling anything until the end of the year anyway.

I am so disgusted by people's comments here. YOU REEK OF PRIVILEGE. ALL LIVES ARE IMPORTANT. It's not just the US that suffers from police brutality and injustice. The murdered black people are never given the justice they deserve, their racist murderers always get away with what they do. How can you expect the people to trust the police, the ones assigned to protect the people, if they are the ones killing the innocent. THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG, but you choose to turn a blind eye just because youre excited to see your games? You're the lowest piece of scums I've ever seen in my life. My country experiences police brutality and injustice frequently, so I cant let this pass. The police are PROFESSIONALS trained to be calm and act professional, but somehow they expect UNTRAINED people to be calm when they point a gun at them.

1. one incident should be investigated in the court, plain and simple. millions of deaths happens every day.
2. racism? really? these fake media, and braindead people are even unable to explain what do they want and from who? police are bad people? police is you, idiots. same people. also.."black community", what the heck is that? this s*** is as racist as it gets. btw where are other color communities? why i always hear about blacks only, and only from usa?
3. so called protests is anti-trump action, well organized and coordinated. why the world should care about inner usa clash between two clans? f*** them both. i wish them burn in the fire of their own medicine, they ruined dozens of countries and killed dozens of millions with the color revolution technology. eat s*** now, usa.
4. notebookcheck, you hit the rock bottom, the thing you just did-you said you are the part of one of the two usa clans, and you are its voice, if your service is needed. absolutely surreal.

While I fully agree that it is a good step to delay any presentations, especially since they are always very US-centric even for non-US companies, reading all of the corporatespeak on Twitter that says nothing concrete and smells of lawyers writing something with total non-committal in mind has not made all these companies look any better.

I understand that companies of this size can do nothing but steer their marketing efforts between the Scylla and Harybdis of public opinion and cannot take an actual stance, but I also do hope people treat companies for what they are - mechanisms for generating revenue for the shareholders, not your personal friends, even when they post a dramatic dark background tweet implying they are for everything good against everything bad.

While I dont mind them for delaying more announcements, I still find it suspicious to say the least.

On the other hand, things have gotten out of hand with all the looting and damage to private property, so all in all, I feel the movement for George has lost control of a certain part of their people. Of course, not all of those people do care about George, but they are certainly harming the peaceful protests images.

Bad decision. US isn't the whole world.

If I didnt know better, I would've assumed that Sony was an US company. Watching them slowly turning into gold diggers has been a sad experience.

Articles like this only degrade any respect I had for Notebookcheck, along with all the tech companies involved. We did not come here to hear about politics, especially that of those baiting as they play the race card.

Well, truth isn't subjective. The world's gonna hate on the people that stand up for the minorities simply because society thinks that a quantity of people believing something makes them right. To turn away from wrong would be admitting to no wrong, which we cannot do in this time period. What's the point of attempting to put money above ethics? Are you as selfish as the companies that do this? Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you have the right to voice your opinion here, and if any of us have freedom of speech, then we're most certainly welcome to use a platform to express our support for the truth. After all, Notebookcheck is not a site that caters to what you want. If you seem to think that a news site is controlled by the people, you're welcome to find one. Because as far as I know, Notebookcheck is one of the best sites in the hands of the community, and they're respected in many places for their involvement across various tech communities

Then begone. I doubt this website would miss someone like you who'd rather cover their eyes to the obvious. You're apart of the problem. This is what a protest is. It's meant to get in your face, to bring more awareness to the issues. If you have a problem stay off line. This protest is everywhere offline and online. Get over yourself buddy. VERY good move for PlayStation and kudos for bringing more headlines to support the movement.

Sony has made the right decision by postponing the upcoming PS5 event that was originally scheduled for June 4, because "more important voices" do need to be heard at the moment. PlayStation 5 fans should support the company's move rather than complain about having to wait longer for the eagerly anticipated reveal event.
