Does the cheaper China version of the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U offer/convert to English?
No, even the one sold on Gearbest/Geekbuying. You need to install English language by yourself

Thanks for the update on these. An amd 4800h is going to power my next laptop but I won't be buying into some racist pricing scheme. It's accepted in third world countries where tourists are rich compared to the locals. Within reason it's ok. But local and foreign pricing is not acceptable in this situation. I won't be sponsoring a china that thinks this is OK.

@yatra : it was in the presentation, confirmed in the previous article from notebookcheck. You can also see it in the bottom of the text if you try to buy one from Gearbest. Baffling choice to me...not even a nosecam.

No 1920x1200... So disappointed. Got fooled by the 16:1 on the ads.

@Spiffywerks, Where did you read there is no camera? That would be ridiculous to sell a laptop nowadays without it...

It looks good, but I think one key missing feature is the lack of a Camera. Otherwise, it would be a great alternative to the Lenovo Ideapad 5.

"HDMI1.4: 1080p Pixel (up to 144Hz), 4K pixel (up to 30Hz)
Supports three-screen display and dual 4K video output
USB-C and HDM video output
Support digital audio and video output, external TV, monitor
Supports corded and wirelesss mode, requires TV / monitor support"

A whole lot of text but does the USB-C support 4k@60hz?
