"No boost mode, No Downclocking"

These are just marketing gimmicks MS is known for and doesn't matter to players as games generally run smoothly on PS4/5. Its the gaming experience that matters and PS has always been better at it. Also, MS have very few games that are appealing.

"thousands of games" microsoft? i've seen 3 gens of xbox consoles and i've yet to buy one -why? i haven't seen any MS exclusives that are "must-have" for me.........good luck with your "thousands of games".

Give them a break, they're trying :D

I already said it before, the xbox might be more powerfull all they want, but it will be hard to compete with the giant lead the PS4 got (which will be compatible with the PS5). Most people won't care for very old games (like PS1 which can be emulated on a phone this days), but they sure will care for the giant catalog from the PS4

I got to hand it to them though, they kept backwards compatibility generation over generation, playstation fans (like me) got the short end of the stick twice already with the PS3 (initially it existed, then was removed and then back again through modding) and then PS4

It has been reported that mass production of the PlayStation 5 console is starting, leading to the strong possibility that a PS5 design reveal could be imminent. In the meantime, Microsoft has been firing some of the first shots of the upcoming next-gen console battle by reminding people that the Xbox Series X is the "most compatible console ever".
