tldr from competent sources: 3300x isn't some performance/price bargain thing but the Ryzen 2 @ one CCX engeneering marvel and will beat in any kind of tasks everyting below 3600 including that 9400f legacy trash.

i love how they are different. different in speed due to..topology. not just by slightly higher frequency, as often happens, you know?
they are like two different architectures, which makes it more fun to choose.
