I used to think you are making good reviews - far from the truth

Not entire chassis is made of metal, many parts are plastic... what sort of BS is this...:/

should i get 240hz version or 300 version which is more future proof that would last more than 5 years at least.

Noticeably, the "made in taiwan" sticker is a paper sticker that will leave all its glue on the chassis at any attempt to remove it.
What a mess.
I talk from personal experience with an aero 17 YB.

I don't understand the differences in performance between this aorus and the aero 17 YB, givent those have the same specification, same screen, same motherboard, only the case design changes.

What is wrong with combining Insert and Delete if Delete is the primary action? When was the last time when you used Insert in it true action? Perhaps when writing articles? Minimal difference to the action - type and then delete.

This looks to be an Aero in a slightly thicker chassis to accomdate for the mechanical keyboard. Motherboard and cooling solution seems identical.

Nice review! gigabyte could have put 2070 super instead of maxq here, screen should be brighter than 285!!! other than that its a very good machine with good thermals, 15" inch version of this cost 2299

With the Aorus 17G, Gigabyte presents a complete redesign of the 17-inch gaming laptop. The mechanical keyboard is one of the most important newly introduced features. You can find out whether or not the rest of the package is up to par by reading our review.
