I compared phones in the last week as I need a new one.

I usually buy a year old second hand flagship.

Pixel 4 came up for a really good price. I was so tempted until I seen the battery..  2800mAh?! On a phone that costs so much when it was new??? What were they thinking...
No wonder people kept turning the radar function off
Shame, coming off the Galaxy s8 Active with its 4000mAh I just couldn't think of me anxious for the battery all the time
Looking forward  pixel 5 tho

Get rid of that huge ugly top bezel, lower the price and youll get yourself top selling phone, Google.
Wont spend a cent more than 700e on brand new cell phone regardless of mfg's promises of it being the next big thing and waking me up with bj's every morning.

Do you really think it was over priced when it was 33 percent off recently?

Yeah, the Soli radar chip is not as responsive as I expected, but, the face unlock is amazing.

So far, I'm VERY IMPRESSED by the phone in all other respects, blazing fast and super smooth interface.

I don't know why most reviews say Pixel 4 was overpriced? The Soli radar chip was at least innovative. It also resulted in the fastest face unlock on any phone. The price point came in slightly less than most flagships.

The Google Pixel 4 had a number of significant flaws but the most fatal of all was pricing, as the phones didn't offer value analogous to their launch prices. Things could change with the Pixel 5, however, as a new report claims Google will focus on the essentials with its upcoming flagship.
