What's special about that? It is the problem of every single LED displays, there are more than one LED in LED display. And LEDs outlive the device by a large margin for most of the time, so who cares anyways? Can't  find what your complain is based on.
Are you serious? The side-lit models age uniformly, at least visibly.

Mini-LED production issues may have put paid to Apple releasing a MacBook Pro 14 before 2021. The Q4 2020-bound MacBook Pro 16 refresh is apparently affected too.
