Most of the people buy high end LG for its quad dac. That's the only differentiating factor from others OEMs. Absence of this feature on this device won't help considering this device which will fall in premium category. Also LG should get G8 with quad dac in all markets rather than selling G8S.

6.8" display? The site says the phone is 74mm wide. With the evident top and bottom bezels, it must be at least 160mm tall too. The V60 is already huge, why must they replace the G-series with this behemoth as well?

Who would've thought that the next "Nexus 7" would be a phone. Pinning my hopes on the Sony Xperia 5 II (or, as others have said, a previous gen flagship like the S10e) to replace my G6.

This phone becomes less desirable the more we know about it...no OIS on the main camera, crap wide angle, No QUAD DAC, high price, no commitment towards updates. If LG thinks this is the way back they are sadly mistaken...

Honestly not sure why anyone would buy this instead of a last-gen flagship. Can't see a single reason.
Ignorance. When some people do something incomprehensibly stupid I generally assume that they don't see even half the picture.
OTOH a digitizer would be an interesting addition...unless that "stylus pen"(quite a redundant name) turns out to be capacitive...

Rocking the design of its contemporaries, the LG Velvet has been confirmed to support styluses and LG's Dual Screen accessory. Sadly, the LG Dual Screen and Stylus Pen accessories will be sold separately. The South Korean company's famed Quad DAC is apparently not making an appearance on the LG Velvet either.
