The problem with Umidigi is that their phones become obsolete from a software perspective in less than a year as they provide only firmware updates but no security patch or upgrade to a new version of Android.

In May 2019 I bought an F1, which was launched in January 2019. They made available only a few firmware updates (no security patches) until September 2019. Nothing after that.

This phone is not bad but it has problems with Internet tethering and with APN's in particular, you can not edit, add or remove APNs, the phone just picks up apns automatically and you cannot share, tether Internet, the other device connects to your Hotspot but doesn't have any Internet and it even shows - Connected/No Internet

Thanks to a high-resolution camera, an additional wide-angle lens and a long-lasting battery, the Umdigi F2 wants to compete with other affordable mid-range smartphones. You will find out whether this is successful in the review.
