Ignoring the price the whole pricing debate, did they have to gimp the 8 so much when compared to the pro!?

So you want a slightly smaller phone (that's still way to big)? No great cameras and nicer storage for you, cmon this is ridiculous!

They stopped being flagship-killers ever since the 5 or 6 when they started paying for marketing and celebrity endorsements. The whole point of the company in the first place was to have a great phone without the regular retail channels, markups, and marketing. Thats been out the window for a few years now, and they are just any regular China based phone company.

Stupid OnePlus owners! I said a long time ago that if they are stupid enough to pay higher & higher OnePlus prices nearing flagship prices, it will only encourage OnePlus to eventually charge full flagship prices to fleece them!

What idiotic suckers!

OnePlus has officially taken wraps off the new OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. The new OnePlus 8 series is powered by the Snapdragon 865 5G and iteratively build upon last year's OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The new phones are priced higher than ever and seem to herald a new beginning for the company that was popular as the brand that makes flagship-killers.
