I bought the top-end surface book three years ago - battery died and there is no way to replace them. I would suggest anyone considering buying one ask that question before paying a premium price.

Agreed. If they haven't refreshed the design on this 5 year old body I don't see people spending the premium this thing costs.

Its about time Microsoft slims down those gigantic bezels on all of their devices, not just overpriced Pro X.
Decent devices, but overpriced with their huge bezels and lack of decent port selection.
Was drooling over local Surface Pro 6 deal with 16GB of RAM and type cover+pen included, full warranty. Then walked into a bm store, was immediatelly put off by those 'uge bezels.

A tech blogger has managed to get hold of some price lists that could be for the upcoming Microsoft Surface Book 3 devices. The listings also included prices for various related accessories and possibly the Surface Go 2. It has been opined that the "Surface Project T" could be the 13.5-inch Surface Book 3 while "Surface Project U" could be the 15-inch model.
