So it's gonna look like a clunky, outdated revamped version of a 6 year old phone?  They shouldn't use the term, "iPhone SE" in conjunction with this latest slap in the face from Apple.  Way to stay cutting edge.

I'm less worried about the price, and more worried about the size. I am and always have been a small phone proponent. The iPhone 6/7/8 chassis is not small, and so this SE2 or whatever it will be called will also not be small.
Sony has stopped producing Compacts, last year's rumors of a new Compact model just died down. Apple's SE is no longer an option, and the Japan-only Sharp Aquos R2 Compact is expensive, hard to import, and has very limited support. It baffles me that among everything this huge market has to offer, devices that one can comfortably use with a single hand have been ignored.
The age of handheld computers has ended. I seem to be one of the rare few people with the belief that if I wanted a tablet, I would buy one.

Idk, I bought my first iphone(SE1) back in 2016 and I'm still using it. Consider that I went through about a cheapo android phone every year, it wasn't a bad deal. Longest lasting smartphone I've ever owned, hasn't crashed on me once. It's been a very good value so far.

If it is cheaper, then it will come with paltry memory. Apple never makes the mistake of providing good value.

Ready to ship next month, Apple is still considering whether it will release the iPhone SE 2 as planned. Earmarked for a mid-April release, the 4.7-inch handset will be cheaper than previous rumours suggested.
