8 core CPU is an overkill by itself. And there is zero chances any budget tier laptop will handle that heat, even with 7nm. All cores turbo stable performance will be weak, It would be a better idea invest money in GPU or smth and go for 4-6 core CPU.

Absolute junk comment - the TDP (theoretical and real) of that CPU is no worse than the i5 it competes against. If the cooling system's not enough for the Ryzen, it's not enough for the i5 to boost high either. Increasing GPU power in a thermally constrained chassis wouldn't help, either.

Why complain about getting 8 AMD cores and better performance for less than the price of 4 Intel cores, anyway? Who loses here?

QuoteAre you getting paid for your gate-keeping?

You either need to look up what gate-keeping is, or learn how to read properly. No one is trying to stop you from continuing to make a fool of yourself.

8 cores CPU is overkill the same way your autism is overkill. For the dumb shits that game all day and do nothing productive on the PC, I'm sure it's overkill.

Why are you so obnoxious? If you're just trolling, I suggest being more subtle instead of just saying whatever childish insults come to mind. The latter is more pathetic than offensive.

Here comes the hero to save his princess, or are you the princess?

When people go off spouting garbage, I feel a duty to sound off ;) There's enough misinformation as it is.

It's not Intel
It doesn't increase to 80watt+ to boost. huh

too bad the tuf laptops is trash. i have one of them with an i5+1050 base config, even after they hard limit the cpu tdp to 25w the laptop still cannot cool itself properly with max fan mode. any heavy combined load will put it to 90°C. there's no way it can cool an 8 cores 45w cpu and a 2060.

please correct the article, as i5-9300H is only a 4 core and 8 thread part according to Intel ark and 4800H is 8 core and 16 thread, meaning it has double the number of core and thread.

Chinese electronics retailer jd.com is already selling Renoir Ryzen 7 4800H-equipped laptops in China. The Asus laptops are retailing for less than US$1000 for RTX 2060/4800H configurations, a remarkable value.
