The fact that on-board GPS is the signature feature so far on the "new" Charge 4 is the same reason Fitbit is selling out to Google.  Their development has been stagnant over the last couple of years.  I've always been a Fitbit fan mainly because of their app, but the design of their devices are usually geared towards women.

Releasing a new Charge model in the middle of a merger makes no sense. Especially when the improvements are minor.

A promo video showing off the upcoming Fitbit Charge 4 fitness tracker has been shared online. Prices for the European market for both the standard edition of the Charge 4 and the special edition of the fitness tracker have also been revealed. It seems Fitbit has also decided to install a GPS module in its latest Charge model.
