The monitor claims to support 10bit color but when connected to the notebook over the USB-C connection, only 8bit color (TrueColor) modes are available.
I am not sure if the limits are in the integrated graphic card (Intel UHD 620) or USB-C connection or the display does not support 10bit picture.

The information from the Philips does not mention, that although it support 1Gb RJ-45 internet connection it cannot be used together with the 4K60Hz regime. Although it is a limitation of the USB-C, it confuse significantly. That's pity that the not Thunderbolt support for communication included, because it does not fully compensate docking station.

With its built-in USB-C dock, a good 4K panel, a secure pop-up webcam, and PowerSensor the Philips Brilliance 329P9H is positioned as serious workhorse. Find out in our review how it performed when we got our hands on it.
