Mediatek Dimensity 1000 chipset seems to be at par with Snapdragon 865 as the ANTuTu scores are comparable.

Yeah, this new 5G chipset by Mediatek looks exceptionally good and would surely raise the standard of the brand.

Excellent comment, Baron. You really backed up your statements with pointers to better benchmarks supporting your claims.

But I don't think it's fair to consider only those 6-16 as "kids" in this day and age: anyone under 36 is a no-nothing kid, IMO (that's, of course, my age, and I know-it-all).

Mtk was is will be garbage! I will never buy it no matter what stupid antutu tells. Totally unimportant antutu made for kids between 6 to 16

Most smartphone enthusiasts don't seem to like MediaTek chipsets. While there are solid reasons for that, performance isn't one of them anymore. For example, the new MediaTek Dimensity 1000L looks to be the most powerful SoC outside the flagship space.
