Most phones only get 1 major OS update to the next level. If you buy a outdated phone that is discounted because it is nearing its end of life, then don't cry if its support ends within 2 years. Seeing that it was released with Android 8.1, you should not expect it to reach 10.0. Not many phones get 2 major android updates. Those that do are top of the line, high spec models that were ahead of their time in performance and features. I would sign the petition if the phone was designed to be released with Android 9, but seeing that people want to go from Android 8.1 to 10 on a fairly entry level phone that was cheap to indicate its end of life, I won't sign as it is life! When you buy your next phone, get one designed around the latest Android or the flagship that is ahead of its time if you want 2 major updates.
