Why the stated capacity here is 70Wh? I can find only the model with 51 Wh battery...

It's just the total disgrace of the entire industry when a miserable 4GB DDR4 unsolder into a 2019-2020 laptop, instead of even having to be in laptops for $600 is 8GB in one slot, so that the buyer can put the second 8GB and close the deal for a long time with fastest memory config.

The second shame of the whole industry. that in similar laptops based on the Intel platform in 2020 (!!!) there is a wretched and antique HDMI 1.4b, instead of the modern (but also obsolete 1.5 years ago after publication of HDMI 2,1!) HDMI 2.0b with HDR support and the connection of 4K monitors, TVs and projectors.
All Ryzen with 15W TDP have HDMI 2.0b by Vega, but not Intel...

The third disgrace of this model and the like is a fake USB-C port with a complete lack of useful functionality, such as TB3.0 (which, starting with "Whiskey Lake" family from Intel is already integrated in SoC on logic level), Lenovo just must make is PHY layer for TB3.0 on the motherboard for a couple of bucks!) And not even having output DP1.4 with HDR! No PD support!
In 2020 year!

The fourth shame - with such a large case, there are no USB 3.0 ports on the left! And even there is no RJ45 on the left, although it fits there perfectly and it is on the board, it is defined in AIDA64!

The fifth disgrace is the glossy matrix. glare and poor color rendering! There should be 99% sRGB, not a miserable 86%!

Sixth shame - at its price, there should be a matte 4k panel.

50 milliseconds response
39 db in gaming, consuming only 44w total
resume-another unbearable crap. at least its a 800 usd range, not 2k.
so, not the worst laptop ever. battery life? can it fix response or noise?

I got this machine 3 months ago. My display is different (still glossy) and the ssd is 1TB Micron 2200. Swapping the wifi card to DW1820A Broadcom (its also a hackintosh) fixed the low speed. Battery life is unbelievable :)

If only it had touchpad physical mouse buttons, then it would be worth taking seriously.

Very impressive battery run time.   Unimpressive weight.  Come on guys, if it had a 1650 MaxQ GPU, this would be justified.  But without it, they really should have the weight under 1.6 kg.

I'd bitch about the inclusion of a numpad, but since these guys are the ONLY laptop manufacturers doing it right, with a double width zero key and double height enter key, I'll let that one go.   If a numpad has to be included for some kind of checkbox list, at least they are doing it right.  Unlike Asus and everyone else.

Not only did the 15-inch IdeaPad S540-15IML impress in our test with a high-quality metal case but also with an excellent battery life. However, we really can't understand why Lenovo opted for a glossy display.
