I keep looking at this article and scrolling up and down, for real pictures of the phone, but all I can see are 3D renditions from the manufacturer. Am I blind, or the cats ate the phone tasked with picture taking ?

This device clearly has Strong PWM backlight control at approx 60% and below brightness visible with another camera at a high shutter speed. Review is not accurate.

I'm surprised this phone isn't getting more reviews, it's one of the most interesting phones I've seen in a while. Notchless display, focus on good cameras instead of more cameras, interesting design (notification LED, clustered cameras), not overspending on a high end SOC (most people use it for instagram anyway),.... I absolutely love what they are doing with this phone! Too bad about the display though, with it being the centerpiece of the phone, I expected better colour and brightness performance. OIS would be nice on the camera as well, even if it means a lower pixel count. Hope they continue this design to a second generation, I would get one in a heartbeat if it had a better display!

It has OIS according to the detailed specs (if you open it), and another review just came out on a german site, and they also said the phone has OIS.

Hopefully more reviews will come, but the phone is only available on Motorola official websites, which makes it very limited and hard to get.
I want to buy one for a month now, but I live in Hungary and the German Motorola site didn't ship it to me. ;/

The front camera of the Motorola One Hyper hides inside the case and only extends when needed. This gives an intact front and is also a nice gimmick. But can the mid-range smartphone convince in any other way?
