Oppo need to up their ante in the market and partnering with MediaTek could be a good move.

Yeah, Helio P70 all right but we want to have MediaTek Dimensity 1000 powered smartphones now.

It looks like Helio P70 is offering some good experience to the users that's why it is coming in devices.

Two new devices, apparently made by OPPO, have shown up on the Geekbench 4 website. Given the similarities in their specs and model numbers, they may be 2 variants of the same phone. Oddly, however, they are listed with the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, as are some of this OEM's existing phones.
