Just wondering if there is plans to review the 2020 version as they state the CPU now runs at 25w

I have this laptop (fhd version) and the cpu does run at 25w if the gpu is not active. R20 must be set to use the igpu through nvidia control panel otherwise the system engages the dgpu and throttles down the cpu to 15w. I get multicore scores on R20 of 1700—1800.

Really? So if one uses intel GPU (not the GTX1650) then CPU goes to 25W?
Seems interesting

I'm thinking of taking one, but with FHD screen. Hopefully there will be a way to increase the CPU TDP limit to 25W after some time. It will be a little performance monster!
Looked at MSI Prestige 14 as well, but build quality isn't good. And considering 6-core 14nm CPU and weaker cooling solution - it will be constantly throttling and probably will end up with lower long-run performance than Blade.

MSI Prestige 14 would seem to be better.  More than double the CPU performance, 200g lighter weight, and cheaper price by several hundreds of $.  14" instead of 13" screen. Same GPU. Only 15mm wider and 5mm taller, but that doesn't make much difference.

Yeah, I'm seriously considering one to replace my old SVS13 whose 640M can't seem to run modern strategy games anymore. The Razer Blade has better build quality, but it's way too expensive given the specs.

Might I suggest some other comparison devices? While it does seem that the new stealth is in a class of its own as a 13" device with gf 1650, there are lightweight laptops with dedicated graphics out there that someone who want to be able to bring a gaming device along might be interested in.

Matebook X (pro)
Zenbook s13
MSI prestige 14
Inspiron 14 7000
Zenbook ux433
Mi 13
Envy 13

I'd like to see a review of the GTX model with the FHD display - battery life would certainly improve, and maybe other things would be better too. Undervolt results would also be very interesting to see.

same cpu, multicore
lenovo yoga-700pts
razer-480pts
this is so fucked up.
the same product names should deliver the same. if not, dont tell me eye-seven blahblah. put the productivity or s*** like that on the box and manual.
i know i know, every oem has his own bios and settings.
again, same name-different products. the consumer is screwed anyway. eye-seven, top of the line, latest technology..with the ryzen 3 productivity.
they selling you 400 dollar cpu with the 100 dollar horsepower.
and no laws to stop this madness.

Razer has tried to create the ultimate machine for gamers on the go. The result is the new Razer Blade Stealth. It has many good qualities, such as its powerful GPU, but the 4K screen cannot satisfy us. The CPU performance could be better as well.
