What's wrong with that? I'd honestly hope they do, I'd really like to upgrade from my 1080Ti... to a "3080Ti" or such. But not to just a "3080".

Also, it's hard to see them releasing anything until there's competition...

Current rumours are that NVIDIA has delayed the release of its Ampere GPUs, the next-generation successors of the company's current RTX 20 series product stack. Initially expected in the first half of next year, the 7 nm chips may make an appearance as early as March, but will not hit shelves until several months later.
