According to a professional in the audio industry, ~$10 Edifier H180 sound better than this.

Sony can do like pro with its LDAC which is way better and for some time already.
But to add a Pro word to lossless tech after forsaking a way more Pro option - 3.5 Jack, is like funny/stupid/... at once.
I don't think Apple would bother to wrestle with the connection issues and power drain of LDAC with the quality of their earphones in the first place.

Apple heralds its latest AirPods as a "Pro" product that offers amazing audio quality and immersive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), but do they live up to the hype? Our time with them would suggest otherwise, although they will likely impress those who already own a set of AirPods. Audiophiles will probably be less enamoured by the US$250 wireless earbuds, though.
