Yeah, what I was gonna say.
The naming is confusing and taken negatively on other forums because it seems like a simple Samsung copy, though not a new issue since this line has existed for many years. A "Note" without a stylus doesn't make sense, never did, and the name, on Xiaomi's side should be discarded altogether.
