After 2 of my Samsung tablets went bad in 2019 including the original tab S, I was in the market for a new tablet. I looked at this model but ruled it out due to the PWM flickering and lack of a headphone jack. Instead I  bought my first iPad Pro even though I dislike its OS and its vastly inferior LCD screen. It doesn't use PWM and it has a headphone jack.
Good choice, I'll be upgrading from my 1st gen iPP to a 2nd gen iPP in a few months, also for the headphone jack, and the far more sturdy chassis than 3rd gen and beyond. Fantastic value both in terms of usage and resale.

I bought LTE model (SM-T865), the temperature near the power button will be VERY VERY HIGH and HOT when you turn on 4GLTE and play high end game like CARAVAN Stories. But on same tablet and use WIFI for same game, the temperature will be good and cool.
Hope the next firmware will fix or improve this!

mr reviewer Manual Masira, why are you lying or are you confused as there are so many factors you get wrong in the above review.?

what does this mean //review "What is also immediately apparent are the significantly slimmer display bezels compared to other Galaxy Tab models such as the Galaxy Tab S5e"

S5e?? it is same size bro 24.5x16cm and both are 10.5" so I think you are confused and likely mean the previous Tab S4.
the S5e has the same bezels size 8mm (as S6) while being a tad slimmer with 5.5mm vs 5.7mm and weighing less 398gram vs 420.
Step up your game Manual or you're out.
you did also handle the S5e review' so you should know these devices.
I know I'M a bit harsh here, but I need you to be on your A-game, if we shall elevate the site further and your entry-line on the S6 review-article with referring to MB S-class is identical to the one used in S5e, meeh c'mon bro' - it is like been there' and done that-..
best regard one of the financiers of this site

// another very wrong article past?
"The Samsung Galaxy S6 is Samsung's first tablet where the main camera is a dual camera. It consists of a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 123-degree viewing angle and a wide-angle lens with 5 MP sitting below that."

Ultra wide-angle lens 123 degree for the 13MP main camera, I think your confused, it is the secondary 5MP cam that is ultra-wide.

and again article: "With 445.4 cd/m² on average, the Samsung tablet achieves a slightly higher brightness than the Galaxy Tab S5e"

are you kidding me? you even reviewed the S5e.. it performed higher than S6 in brightness.
average S5e is 454nits according to your review and peak 481 and low 435.

S6 has an average 445 and low at 416nits?? so what do you mean with higher brightness in S6.. even your review stat table says otherwise and even your listing in this S6 where S5e also are present shows higher average brightness then S6 and overall better display specs on the S5e if one shall put value to your stat.table.

and it corresponds with other sites who also state that S6 is a tad dimmer then S5e even though the same panel, and it is likely to tone down to meet HDR10+ certificate.
but the S5e actually performs better on display margins when you look at the values in the review where S5e also are present,
Same with response rates and your scope where S5e are down in the 4ms where Tab S6 is 6ms.

and the same with your load values when you compare it to the S5e SoC
S6 shows 11.91 under max load and S5e shows 5.73 under max load.

and they both have the same 7040mah battery... but the S6 manage 340 and the S5e manage 300 under Max Load.
Hmm?? It doesnt take a phd to see that something aint right if the device consuming under half under max load, eats up the battery even faster then the device that uses double thtat under same max load test.
When you doing these reviews don't you wonder about values that don't make sense.??

A notice for possible buyers.. the DeX PC app. doesnt seem to be valid for Samsung 2019 S-tablets.. atm only Note10serie and S10 that to my knowledge officialle are able to connect with DeX PC app.
Hopefully it will come in the future for Samsung Tab S tablets..

Yup, no headphone jack no thanks.
Knowing my original iPP still goes strong I only need to upgrade to a 512GB iPP 12.7 2017, which has more battery, a brighter screen, still more graphics performance than this and since it's Apple the 2 year old device could possibly be supported for even longer than this new device. Plus it's much cheaper, even one in pristine condition. And did I mention it's 512GB? :)

Hi can you test the transfer speeds of the USB-C port?

Had the S6 for about a week now.  Speed is glorious and the extra storage is welcome.

Can't seem to get the pen to work (gestures) but it does when you click it (cam for example).

In order to use DeX, you do NOT need the Samsung kb.  I bought a 3rd party case/kb  ($25CDN) which works just fine/as much as I need it to.  No issues.

I did find that in order to get DeX started, I needed to turn off all power saving features.  It just wouldn't load till I did.

Other than the price, I am pleased with it.

Hi. May i ask if we can project the files to a projector using usb-c to VGA/HDMI?
Worth mentioning since the ipad can do this and increases its productivity.

Thankz

For Samsung's new tablet flagship, the best is just good enough: As the first Samsung tablet, the 10.5-inch Android device is equipped with a dual camera and is run by the Snapdragon 855 high-end SoC and at least 6 GB of RAM. The Samsung S Pen is also always included.
