Apparently Lenevo listened to the claims and "unfortunately" removed the 4K option from their PC configuration.
I was just ready to buy one 4K version since I did not care too much about battery life, I might need to be patient until it comes out again a new version.

Sadly, Lenova doesn't care that her ThinkPad advice is a show of professionalism. Instead, they can't even do normal screen brightness control.

The standard 1080p display in the ThinkPad T590 wasn't able to convince us in our review. Fortunately, Lenovo offers an optional 4K matte display that provides excellent image quality. However, you have to accept a loss in battery life in exchange.
